Faroex is under contract to LM Wind Energy, the leading world-wide supplier of blades for wind turbines, to provide pultruded structural components that are critical to the connection of the blade to its root.

Very thick profiles with a high glass fraction are pultruded using RF pre-heating equipment to ensure maximum through-put, avoiding the internal cracking that plagues competitor's profiles. Manufactured to exacting tolerances using equipment custom-designed by Faroex, these components are shipped to locations within North America and around the world.

Faroex was involved in the development of pultruded, carbon fibre cores for high-tension cabling that will be critical to the performance of power distribution networks throughout the world.
